Made in Italy, the Cantini Earphonic electric violin has a magnetic pickup with a separate sensor
for each string. It is MIDI compatible and includes a 13-pin MIDI jack as well as a standard 1/4-inch phone jack.
Maple neck and solid maple body, with a cutaway design and blueburst finish. Ebony fingerboard, nut, and pegs. The pickup delivers a surprisingly smooth electric tone, and the violin is particularly suited to high-volume playing and/or the use of effects.
This instrument was only lightly played, and comes with a hardshell case, shoulder rest, and Glasser carbon fiber bow. New from a U.S. retailer (although said retailers are out of stock at the moment), this violin would cost $1,749 without the bow. You can get it here for less.
