Eastwood
Eastwood Classic tenor guitar. $650.
Inspired by the famous Gibson electric guitars, here’s a semi-hollow Eastwood Classic tenor in natural finish. Thanks to its dual humbuckers, it offers a warm and full tone that’s ideal for blues or jazz. Given the price point, this is a surprisingly high-quality instrument that sounds great and is rewarding to play.
Maple laminate semi-hollow body in natural finish. Dual Eastwood Retro humbucking pickups (I would prefer 4-pole pickups on a tenor as opposed to 6-pole, but it’s a minor quibble) controlled by a 3-way switch. 2 volume and 1 tone knob. Tun-O-Matic style bridge, set maple neck. Rosewood fretboard with sharkfin fret markers. 23-inch scale, GDAE octave mandolin tuning. Nut width: 1 5/16". Kluson-style chrome tuners. It is currently set up for GDAE (octave mandolin) tuning. Recommended string gauges: .042, .032, .018, .011. It could be converted to standard CGDA tuning with lighter strings.
Used but very well kept, this tenor has a recent pro setup and comes with a rectangular hardshell case. Eastwood’s MSRP is $749 without a case, but I’m offering the whole package for $650. See more photos, call 425/772-0231, or for more information. $650 plus shipping. 48-hour approval.
