     The MD515 is Eastman's midrange model, but it gets the job done, and holds its own against more expensive mandolins. Spruce top with ivoroid binding, maple back and sides. Maple neck with single-action truss rod. Ebony fretboard with 12" radius, 13 7/8" scale. Bone nut, 1 3/32" wide. Pearl headstock logo and inlay dots. Nickel hardware and cast aluminum tailpiece. Adjustable compensated ebony bridge.
     Serial number 15953426; I think it's about 10 years old. It has an L.R. Baggs Radius pickup installed. Very good condition. Hardshell case included. Eastman prices have slowly crept up, and the current retail price for an MD515 is $1,959. Get it here for less.
