Kay 8-string, sunburst. $600.
One of the more ubiquitous e-mando builders through the decades has been the Kay factory of Chicago, which built under many brand names, including its own. Production ceased sometime in the 1970s, I think, but it still isn't that hard to find a Kay—although not of them are in good condition like this one.
Probably built during the 1950s, this Kay is all there and appears to be all original, including the white top hat knobs and the absolutely glorious "Kelvinator" headstock decoration. The pickguard has yellowed and there's a bit of wear around the pickup cutout. It's in working condition and will be shipped with a fresh set of Emando.com Light strings. Standard gig bag included, or upgrade to a custom gig bag or chipboard case. See more photos, call 425/772-0231, or for more information. $600 plus shipping.
