The Spencers made some wild-looking mandolin-family instruments out of recycled and
exotic woods. Their output was mostly acoustic instruments with optional onboard pickups,
like the bouzouki pictured at right. But on the
left is a Bardsong solidbody electric
"zouk"—converted by Shawn from an old Gibson SG. And below
is an electric mandocello that Shawn built and sold to none other than Bo
Diddley.
