Here's a sharp-looking semi-hollow 8-string number from UK builder Shippey. Spruce or sycamore top, North American walnut back; figured English sycamore neck with double truss rod. 12-inch radiused ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl position markers; adjustable ebony bridge with compensated bone saddle. Gloss lacquered top in sunburst or black. Gotoh tuners and locking Schaller strap buttons. Active bass, treble and volume controls. As pictured, the instrument is fitted with a B-Band condenser transducer with onboard preamp, but Paul also offers it with a magnetic pickup.
