Yes, it's an electric. Czech luthier Lebeda is well known for his acoustic mandolins, but this one has a little something extra: an Arton bridge-mounted piezo pickup with an endpin jack. (I wish I knew something about Arton pickups, but Jiri appears to be the only luthier using them.) Streichholz-Schachtel in Germany carries many of Jiri's mandolins, including this one.
