Fletcher Brock
Fletcher splits his time between Idaho and Seattle. He earned a stellar reputation as a builder of Celtic-style bouzoukis and citterns. Then he changed his focus to F-style mandolin-family instruments and once again won kudos for those. Here, though, are a couple of 5-string electrics he's built. The archtop jazz model on the left is currently in the capable hands of young Bryce Milano. The solidbody on the right was built around 1980. It features a Bill Lawrence blade pickup and a Stratocaster bridge that Fletcher cut down to 5 saddles from 6, and has been loaned out to several players. You can reach Fletcher by
