Here's a gorgeous single-course mandola with a 16" scale, from luthier Ryan Rukavina of Missoula, Montana. Ryan is a Roberto-Venn graduate with 20 years of experience in luthiery. This instrument has an oil finish and features an alder body, walnut neck, and maple fretboard.
     The custom-wound pickup uses 1/4" Alnico 5 magnets. It's wax potted and copper shielded, as is the control cavity. Les Paul body shape, tone and volume controls. Custom-machined, compensated Tune-O-Matic bridge. Features Gotoh 18:1 tuners, a two-way truss rod, an Electrosocket output mount and a standard Switchcraft jack.
