Jonathan Mann semi-hollow, Telecaster-style 5-string electric mandolin. $1,250.
Jonathan Mann of Tennessee is one of the hottest e-mando builders out there right now. Here's one of his from 2004. It is the only Telecaster-style mandolin Jonathan has ever made; moreover, it was his first electric mandolin, and thus it has some measure of historical significance, in light of the acclaim he has received for his later work.
Sunburst finish on figured maple top and headstock cap. Three-piece curly maple/cherry/maple neck; quilted mahogany back and sides with neck-through design. Ebony fretboard, bridge, and custom tailpiece; single F-hole. A previous owner installed an EMG Select active humbucker; there's also a 5-pole, single-coil pickup that will be included.
