Maartin
Allcock
A former member of Fairport Convention and Jethro Tull, British multi-instrumentalist
Allcock is a driving force
in the British folk/rock scene. He writes: "I have an Ibanez F style,
which was a present from Dave Pegg; two Gibson A2s—one 1919, the other
1921—which I bought in the States; a Stefan Sobell bouzouki-guitar;
a Rob Armstrong solid
electric bouzouki with a piezo which has a separate output [this is the
instrument Maart is playing in the above photo]; a solid doubleneck instrument,
guitar and bouzouki by Rob; and a goldtop Les Paul solid electric bouzouki
by Andy Viccars. ... There's a new
band starting up—Dave Swarbrick (fiddle
& mandolin), Beryl Marriott (piano), Kevin Dempsey (guitar) and me (bass,
bouzouki and guitar)." Learn more about Maart at his Web
