Chris is a custom builder in Austin, Texas. His one-off, F-style hollow-body mandolin sports a Fishman piezo bridge and onboard preamp as well as a blade humbucker in the neck position. There's a volume knob, a blend knob, and a pickup selector switch with a stereo option for a blended or split signal. Other features: Quilted maple top, three-piece maple neck and binding, ebony fretboard, and Sperzel locking tuners.
