Dave Crocker of Neosho, Missouri, built these 5-string, Telecaster-inspired, "CM Five" solidbody mandolins with bolt-on maple necks, rosewood fingerboards, and Bartolini pickups. The one on the right looks red, but it's really a dark natural finish. Dave was actively building these around 1985, but I don't know if he has built any since then.
